October 2018 Events Recap

Rick and Nancy’s wedding at Prospect House on the 28th

The first of two weddings back to back at Prospect House. One of our favorite venues because not only is it absolutely beautiful, but also has a direct input for the DJ to plug into the inside and outside speakers – making a more full sounding experience throughout the entire venue. More importantly, we loved Rick and Nancy’s wedding and how much fun their guests had celebrating! Their popping dance floor was illuminated by their custom made neon sign -a first we have ever seen! Check out the video from our Instagram story below.

DJ Robert Araya’s first wedding under Hype Rhythm on the 28th

Hands down our favorite vendor to work with! Robert (DJ milez) made sure to double, then triple check our music requests and reception timeline. Music and dancing was such an important detail to us and Robert went above and beyond to make sure open dancing was everything we wanted it to be. Would recommend to anyone, especially brides and grooms that know music is one of the most important parts of their day.

Dustin and Megan’s wedding at Antebellum Oaks on the 27th

When your cousin’s wedding DJ is absolutely amazing and you want an equally amazing wedding, you take her vendors list and start planning. Thats exactly what Dustin and Megan did, and a few weeks later Hype Rhythm was booked as their DJ! Of course we brought that fire again and pulled off a perfect wedding from start to finish! See y’all at the next sibling or cousin’s wedding!

Thomas and Alexis’s wedding at The Vineyard at Florence on 10/20

Hype Rhythm Live’s third wedding of the month and they have all been amazing! Just as amazing as Alexis’s beautiful and unconventional red wedding dress. I absolutely love it, and Chris and myself were so grateful to be there and help make their dance party a blast from start to finish!

Travis and Victoria’s wedding at Broadie Homestead on 10/20

During the recent rain, Broadie Homestead is the perfect south central Austin venue to have a back up plan to have the ceremony inside. DJ Kit K was not only the DJ, but an amazing MC and host. Guests had a wonderful time. Thanks for trusting Hype Rhythm!

Kara and Kevin’s wedding at Villa Antonia on 10/14

On this day it was about 80 degrees and beautiful skies and the next day it was 40 and rained nonstop. Kara and Kevin were blessed with a beautiful wedding and an equally loving and supportive family and friends. Got to work with the amazing photographers of Brio Photography and one of the most beautiful venues in town, Villa Antonia. Congratulation’s to Kevin and Kara!

Sam’s Bar Mitzvah at Gather on Lamar on 10/13

Mitzvah’s are one of my favorite events to DJ. Three years ago I threw an amazing party for Sam’s sister, Sophie, so of course they knew how much fun I was gonna make the night for Sam. The new mitzvah queen, Jessica Laderberg of EVENTfulATX, helped pull off an amazing mitzvah as always and I highly recommend her if you’re looking for a pro coordinator.

Ryan and Mara’s wedding at Pecan Springs Ranch on 10/12

Mara and Ryan had an absolutely beautiful wedding that had a disney theme to it. Guests had a great time on the dance floor. The best part of the night for me was doing the Chinese Lantern send off- which I had never done before. It made for some amazing photos and memories!

Corporate Party at Solarwinds on 10/9

Thanks to DJ Kit K and Kat with TRES Events, Hype Rhythm’s Nick@Nite turned this corporate launch event into a launch party! It was a fun time DJing classic hits and some new songs with a great dance beat.

Jocelyn and Caleb’s Wedding at The Vineyards at Chapel Lodge on 10/7

Hispanic weddings are my low-key specialty. I have the mix of Cumbia, Reggaton, Merengue, Bachata, Tejano, and current hits that is absolutely amazing. Jocelyn, Caleb, and guests were having such a fun time that they asked me to keep DJing for another hour, (and thanks to the venue allowing it) and we still could have gone another hour. There was an encore – three times! I forgot to save the videos off my Instagram story, but it was an absolute blast and I’m glad I could make it extra special for them.

Kaitlin and Eddie’s wedding at San Antonio Museum of Art on 10/6

5 out of 5 stars via the Knot

“Our wedding was quite the party and a lot of that is thanks to Hype Rhythm DJ! DJ Nick led our wedding at the San Antonio Museum of Art and it was truly magical. His energy and professionalism was a highlight of our evening. He did a phenomenal job of keeping the timeline of the event moving smoothly all while keeping our guests engaged. We had the BEST dance party towards the end of the evening and he did a wonderful job of playing an assortment of different styles of songs. I would highly recommend booking Hype Rhythm DJ for your event.”
