Kel and Courtney’s Wedding at Hayes Hollow at Hidden Creek on Sept 22nd
Best summary put in words by the amazing photographer, Eryn of LewChan Photography: “Over the weekend Courtney and Kel exchanged vows to love one another forever and it was truly beautiful. I loved watching how Kel was completely tuned into Courtney, his tears during their first look, and the way they both smiled at one another with their entire heart. It was evident that these two found their perfect match and they were THRILLED to say “I do.” Also, Courtney and Kel love to dance and so did their guests! The dance floor was packed the entire night and it was a blast to capture!”
My mom and I met Nick at the Austin Bridal Show and immediately loved him! DJ Nick was so professional and FUN! My guests raved about him and the dance floor was packed all night. Even our photographer (one of the most popular in Austin) said she hadn’t seen a dance floor that packed in at least a year. He played a great mix of fun, current stuff as well as general hits our older guests would like. He definitely knew how to play to the crowd and keep things lively! HIRE HIM and you won’t regret it!

Tony and Celia’s Wedding at Gather on Monroe on Sept 22nd
Another amazing wedding done as Hype Rhythm Live with DJ Kit Ketterman and Drummer Chris Gray! Tony and Celia were looking for the most unique and fun entertainment that Austin had to offer for their wedding. I don’t think Kit and Chris were ready for the amount of selfies they would have to take once the night was over. Hype Rhythm crew knocked it out of the park!
I wish the star rating went higher than 5. Everyone we worked with was just awesome really catered to what we wanted to hear. The dance floor was filled all night. We added the drummer and everyone loved it. The sound was amazing they were super cool and nice and seemed like they were having just as much fun as the guests but keeping it absolutely professional. I would recommend Hype Rhythm Dj everyone and anyone looking to have a great time!! Thanks again guys!!!
Suri and Channel’s wedding at Mercury Hall on Sep 9th
I was super excited for this Sunday wedding because not only were we doing Hype Rhythm Live, but we were also doing a set consisting solely of Disco and House music (and a little bit of salsa) – some of my personal favorite genres. Sunday weddings are notoriously difficult to get guests up and dancing, but not for Hype Rhythm Live! It was one of the most fun Sunday weddings I’ve ever DJed. The coordinator, 3ofcups, captured the last dance of the afternoon, below:
Celebration Church Youth Night Silent Disco on Sept 15th
DJ Nick@Nite was hired by Austin Silent Disco to spin for Austin’s Celebration Church. Silent Disco’s are a kids music dream! Three DJs spin a different set at the same time, each one on a different channel on the headsets (Red, Green, Blue) which guests can switch between and control the volume at their leisure. Its nice because it accommodates different music tastes, and also makes a killer selfie. Needless to say, Nick is the best at what he does for any crowd, evidence below with everyone on (his) the green channel:
Hunter and Kylie’s wedding at Escondido and Quail Point Lodge on Sept 8th
Had to get a picture with Hunter and Kylie because their wedding was unforgettable to say the least! Rain was predicted all day, but as I tell everyone, I am the best anti-rain charm you can have. So as you can imagine, the weather turned out beautiful after the ceremony was already moved inside. No problem! Still made sure everything went perfectly and the dance segment was so much fun! Guests gave me some of the nicest compliments I’ve ever received!
Nick was seriously the best DJ we could have found! He was very responsive through the whole process and everything could not have moved better for our wedding. Her partnered flawlessly with our planner to be the MC for the evening and kept the party going. We received so many compliments after the event about how awesome he was!

Jeff and Alex’s wedding at Gather on Lamar on Sept 8th
Another DJ Kit Ketterman wedding with Hype Rhythm. Like I tell everyone, Kit is the only other DJ in Austin I would trust with my own wedding. He is not only one of the best MCs/Hosts, but one of the top open format DJs in Austin. Picture and Review coming ASAP!
