April 2018 Events Recap

*Picture Coming ASAP!*

Abby and Jaelin’s b’nai mitzvah at Cimmaron Hill’s Country Club -4/28/18

I’ve come to the conclusion that the most fun dance parties are bat (girl) mitzvahs. When I was told these two girls were combining their parties (mitzvah dates are scheduled by the Rabbi and kids end up having conflicting dates with other kids in their class) to have over 100 of their close friends in attendance, I knew I had to be their DJ. It was an amazing time and afterwards both girls couldn’t stop talking about what an amazing time they had. Got to once again work with Eventful ATX’s Jessica the coordinator, Ginny B Photography, and Shutterbooth and I highly recommend all of these vendors for any mitzvah.

Mara and Freddy’s wedding at Hayes Hollow at Hidden Falls – 4/22/18

Another Sunday wedding that had an absolute rager of a dance party! One thing I love about middle eastern culture is how they dance. Not talking about their dance moves, but their energy and vibe. The moment the bride and groom at introduced, they are dragged to the dance floor to being a 15 min dance party before dinner even begins. The difference from regular weddings and fun of it is that every single person is dancing with no inhibitions with the upmost joy – even the men! Blessed to work with all the amazing vendors on this event, and I highly recommend checking out Hayes Hollow at Hidden Falls, an absolutely beautiful modern venue about 30 mins north of San Antonio.

Grand Opening of Buck Wild – 4/15/18

From the owner of Buckshot’s and Two Bucks, and just in time for the summer, is Adam’s newest concept – specialty frozen, alcoholic drinks, cocktails, and shots. I am now the resident DJ at Buck Wild every Thursday from 11-2am and Sunday from 7-11pm. Seriously the best drinks for the Texas summertime. You have to come through and try a drink or two! If you haven’t read as well, my new every Friday DJ residency is at Pop on West 6th street from 10-2am.

Catch DJ Kit K on West 6th at The Ranch every Friday and Bufords, both from 10-2am

Check out DJ Alchemist Prime at The Market & Tap Room on 4th Street on Friday’s and at Burnsides on Saturday, both from 10-2am.

Micheal and Sarah’s wedding at The Four Seasons -4/12/18

DJ Kit worked his first wedding under Hype Rhythm and did a next level job. Michael and Sarah were looking for unique entertainment at their wedding and found Hype Rhythm Live. Not only did they want Chris Gray on the new electric drums we are offering, but also wanted a Trance music set and accompanying visuals/music videos on screens and an amazing light show as well.  Think ACL but in the Four Season’s for 100 people. Kit and Chris did an amazing job and I couldn’t be more proud of them on their first gig together as Hype Rhythm Live!

Thanks Kit!  We had a great time and loved how you pulled all music together.  Thanks for working with us to make it happen.  We will remember the day for the rest of our lives and are happy that you were apart of it.

Erika and Marcos’s wedding at Sunset Station -4/12/18

Back to back weekends of amazing weddings all accumulated to DJing my long time friend’s wedding in San Antonio. I knew this wedding was going to be unforgettably fun, and it exceeded my expectations! Dance floor was packed all night and Im glad I got to make it perfect for my good friends. Gotta say I was blown away by the food by Rosemary’s Catering. I’ve had hundred’s of event meals and this was easily in my top 3 all time. Thanks to the Aburto family for hosting and congratulations to Erika and Marcos!

JJ and Trisha’s wedding at The McNae Art Musem – 4/8/18

Back to back amazing dance parties this weekend. JJ and Trish are blessed to have amazing friends that helped make their Sunday wedding one of the best weddings ever. This was such perfect wedding with such amazing weather (on a crazy weather weekend). The dance floor was packed the entire time (even grandma was getting down to Cardi B) that I wish we could have gone on longer!

Jamie’s bat mitzvah at Parkside – 4/7/18

One of the best bat mitzvah’s I’ve ever DJed. Had guests dancing from the moment they got there to the very end of the night. Jamie and her family are people with amazing hearts and personalities, and I felt blessed to help provide an unforgettable dance party for them! Cant wait for yall’s next celebration with Lexi! Everyone helped knock this mitzvah out of the park! Eventful ATX was the planner and did a next level job decorating and making this event run smoothly for everyone. Every mitzvah’s favorite Photo Booth, Shutterbooth, was a hit as always. Everyone helped knock this mitzvah out of the park!

Life Austin Silent Disco – 4/4/18

Now offering the option of doing a private silent disco! Last minute was booked to do a Silent Disco After Party at Life Austin, a local Christian Bible Study Church. While I took pictures on my Instagram, I forgot to save them, however it was an amazing time, even more amazing light show behind me, and amazing sound/video production from the crew at LA Youth Night. Thanks for having me and looking forward to the next!
