Wedding Entertainment Information and Pricing

Welcome to our entertainment information and pricing page. My goal with this pricing page is to walk you through our wedding process and fully explain what is included in our packages, additional options, logistics, and next steps. Pulling off a perfect wedding can be daunting, but our experience, planning, and backups will help you make it easier than you thought. Below, we explain what we can do in each major segment of the evening.

Preceremony & Ceremony

  • Normally, our start time is the pre-ceremony/guest arrival time (or 30 mins before ceremony begins).
  • We will have arrived two hours before the pre-ceremony start to set up all equipment.
  • Microphones included are a wireless lapel mic for the officiant, and a handheld wireless microphone for readers or personalized vows.
  • Add in Hype Rhythm’s live musicians to play your ceremony! Or let Hype Rhythm handle the microphones and plugging in your own live musician in to our sound mixer and speakers. 
  • Popular Live music choices include acoustic guitar, acoustic string duo to quartet, or solo electric violinist playing improv on instrumental backing tracks. 

Cocktail, Dinner, Formalities

  • Location! Depending on where cocktail hour is to take place, Hype Rhythm can provide you anything to speakers playing background music, to music playing simultaneously in multiple spaces (inside and outside wirelessly connected), to live musicians preforming solo or with the DJ.
  • DJ hosts and MCs formal events such as introductions, announcements, and toasts.
  • Hype Rhythm Live Musicians (electric violinist, saxophone, drummer, and electric guitar) can all improv on any song of your choice. Any combination or paring of musicians is also most likely possible.
  • All detailed DJ planning done via our online system in collaboration with your coordinator.

Dance Party

  • All DJ Packages are intended to ultimately set you up for 2.5 hours of dancing. From our experience, this is normally the ideal amount of time you want your dance segment to be. 
  • All DJ Packages include our main system set up which includes two main dance floor speakers, wireless mic, dance floor lights, and 6 uplights for behind the DJ area. 
  • Our main source of sharing music is Spotify! We have plenty of playlists from you to help build your own. 
  • Our CRM, Honeybook, will be the main client portal where we do everything from contract/invoice, playlist sharing, and essential DJ question answering. 

Booking Hype Rhythm

Deposit and Contract

  • A deposit (non-refundable) of 50% (fifty percent of the initial invoice) & signing of our contract via Honeybook is required to book Hype Rhythm. The remaining 50% is due a month before the wedding.
  • Important notes and disclaimers:
    • We normally arrive two hours before the pre-ceremony start time, and leave at max an hour after its over.
    • Our time frame does not pause for live preformances/speeches/delays. 
    • We do not charge service fees or sales tax, as we are musicians by current Texas Law. 
    • A required gratuity of 25% is added to the following days: New Years Eve, Christmas Eve/Day, and July 4th.
    • Hype Rhythm has COI and venue insurance upon request.

  • For those who are having the venue, independent musician, or Church do music and mics for ceremony

  • Dance Floor Lights + 6 Uplights
  • One Additional/Secondary Speaker System Set Up for Cocktail or Dinner w/ wireless mic for toasts
  • Additional (DJ Only) Time per hour is $150

  • Not including travel fee, which is an additional charge based on venue distance from central ATX

Guitarist

Wireless Transmitter

  • Wirelessly connects a Speaker System in one space to another separate Speaker System in another space.
  • Limited by line of sight, walls or windows, and distance of ~250 feet
  • Gives the ability to have music and announcements made through speakers in all spaces at venue.
