From the intimate ambiance of the ceremony, to the lively energy of the reception, we provide a fully customized musical experience tailored to your vision.

Hype Rhythm began weddings in 2016 with a focus on quality over quantity. Since then, the team has slowly expanded to include only the best of other incredible & professional Austin DJs & Live Musicians. From solo performers to full bands, Hype Rhythm provides a one stop shop for hiring out Austin’s top live musicians & DJs under one contract.

Now in 2026, Hype Rhythm is the modern wedding band with DJ & any combination of live musicians. Our internal process is guaranteed to help couples figure out music & live musician choices to perfect the music vision. DJ Nick@Nite

DJ/Owner with ability to do any combination & number of live musicians with the DJ. From live musicians for ceremony, cocktail & dinner, to any combination of musicians with the DJ for dancing.

DJ Sheridan Reed

DJ & Musician with wonderful talent in preforming covers (plays guitar & sings), and then ability to DJ for the dance party. Potential to add in one or two additional live musicians into his live set or DJ set.

Associate DJs

AL, Brad, Kit and Jonah are all experienced & Austin local wedding DJs & Emcees. Ability to plug in live musicians for ceremony, cocktail, or dinner & also perform with max of one or two live musicians for dance.

$ 2k to 10k

DJ packages range from $2k to $4k, and varies per DJ, total time frame, and equipment needed
Live Musicians start around ~$500 for the first hour minimum "talent fee". Additional time is dependent per musician
Main System: Reception Speakers (2) + Dance Lights (1 GigBar) + Uplights (12) + Mics (2)
Optional Cocktail (or Dinner): Speakers (2) with wireless handheld mic (1)
Optional Ceremony: Speakers (2) with wireless lapel (1) & wireless handheld (1) mics
Additional Options: Time, Mics, Lights, Speakers, Wireless Solutions, Cold Sparks, & C02 Cannons
Travel Fee: The first hour of travel (both ways) is free, but additional time is $50 per hour, per Hype Rhythm team member

Hype Rhythm was everything we could have asked for and more for our wedding in November. We had a solo sax for cocktail hour, DJ for dinner, and for reception used the hybrid DJ + Guitar + Drums + Sax + Trumpet + Trombone. We had a diverse mix of playlists across multiple genres, and Nick and his team took the time to meet with us, understand our vision, and curate the perfect soundtrack for every moment of the night. Our guests could NOT STOP dancing! It was truly a party from beginning to end. We cannot thank Nick and his team enough. We would highly recommend them over and over for any event.

"11 out of 10 stars for Nick and Chris!!! My entire experience with Hype Rhythm from start to finish was extremely easy, organized, and thorough. Nick sat down with us and laid out every detail necessary ahead of the wedding day. On the day of, everything went so smoothly-- we didn't have to worry about a thing! A friend of mine sang a live song and my husband's aunt did a live performance as well. Both of them said the guys were awesome and super easy to communicate with. Every generation was represented on the dance floor and it remained packed all evening. Multiple guests who attended have reached out to me saying they were really impressed and had the time of their lives dancing the night away. The drummer Chris was a huge hit-- him and Nick really brought the energy to 110%. I can't praise them enough and highly recommend their services!"

"Where do I even begin?! The dancing piece of the wedding was the most important part of the night for my husband, so I knew when we booked our DJ / band, we needed to find the best. I don’t regret our choice a single bit. First of all, Hype Rhythm gives the most incredible blend of DJ with a live feel. The drummer brought SO much energy to the dance floor, I could not imagine what it would’ve been like without him. Secondly, Nick made the song choice process so easy and executed on our requests perfectly. We had quite a handful of special songs we wanted to play and he made sure to get them all in while still expressing his own creativity and feel for the vibe. Lastly, they brought the freaking party. We had a NON-STOP 2 hour rager on the dance floor because of them. I got SO many compliments from older folks and my college friends alike on how fun they were and how much they loved the song choices. One of my all time favorite memories of the night was when I looked over and the drummer was banging his fist on the wall he was going so hard. We worked with Nick and he was an absolute star as our wedding DJ! From the start, he went above and beyond to help us plan our big day by sharing his insights on the schedule and flow of a wedding. We had no idea where to begin, and his guidance on what typically works (and what sometimes doesn’t) was invaluable. He gave us great recommendations on how to host the evening and explained exactly what he could do to make it special. Nick was incredibly attentive to our music preferences. He made sure not to play anything from our "do not play" list and kept the night filled with upbeat songs we love! We’ve heard so many stories about DJs not listening to the couple’s wishes, but Nick was the complete opposite—he truly listened and crafted the perfect playlist. His communication was fantastic, too. He was prompt with emails, met with us a month before the wedding, and then again the week of to ensure everything was on track. Nick was so kind, professional, and made sure everything was absolutely perfect. If you’re looking for a DJ who is intentional, listens to your wishes, and keeps the party going, we highly recommend Nick. We are so grateful for him!
